1. The Transformation Specialist

You may recognize Chris Powell from ABC’s Extreme Weight Loss or as the keynote speaker at Optima 2019 Conference. He’s known for helping people undergo incredible transformations and changing their lives.

2. Changing Your Diet Can Help Tamp Down Depression, Boost Mood

A healthy diet has many benefits -- and a recent study suggests that it can also help reduce the symptoms of depression. A group of young adults who participated in the study ate a Mediterranean diet for three weeks, and they reported lower levels of depression, anxiety and stress. The control group didn’t change their diets and continued to eat refined carbohydrates, as well as processed and sugary foods. Their depression levels remained the same.

4. Here’s More Evidence Your Dog Might Lengthen Your Life

Have you been thinking about getting a dog? New studies show that owning a dog could potentially help you live longer. In one study, researchers found that dog owners who lived alone had a 33% lower risk of dying after being hospitalized for a heart attack compared to people who didn’t have a dog.
