Dr. Vanessa MacKinnon teaches Professional Golf Management within California University of Pennsylvania’s Department of Exercise Science and Sport Studies. Prior to entering academia, she spent almost a decade as a golf teaching professional, earning both her PGA and LPGA “Class A” cards and completing all three levels of the Titleist Performance Institute’s Golf Fitness Instructor certification. A Division I golfer at Yale University, she also competed on the professional long drive circuit, qualifying for and competing in five consecutive world championships. Her doctoral dissertation focused on the differences between coaching male and female golfers.
